Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

WelDNA Inc. is a Texas company based in Cypress, Texas. Privacy questions or requests may be sent to resumeorders@weldna.com.

2. Information We May Collect

• Checkout and customer information: name, email address, phone number, optional business name, subscription status, transaction identifiers, and related billing records.
• Support communications: information you include when you email or otherwise contact WelDNA.
• Service information: records reasonably needed to provide, protect, troubleshoot, and improve a purchased service.
• Website and browser information: basic technical information that may be produced by web hosting, security systems, or your browser, such as IP address, device or browser type, timestamps, requested pages, and local browser storage.
• User-supplied career content: résumé, job-description, and optional LinkedIn content you choose to process in the Simple Resume app.

3. How Simple Resume Handles Documents

The current static Simple Resume app processes supported files locally in your web browser. WelDNA does not receive or retain the text of the résumé, job description, or LinkedIn file through this version of the app. The app may use your browser’s local storage to preserve working state on your device. Generated files are downloaded to the location selected or controlled by your browser.

You can remove local app information by using the app’s clear function, clearing the site data in your browser, or removing downloaded files from your device. Do not upload highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for résumé preparation, such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical records, or passwords.

4. Payment Processing

Stripe processes payments and may collect payment-card details, billing information, fraud-prevention signals, and other checkout information under Stripe’s own privacy terms. WelDNA does not receive your complete card number from Stripe. WelDNA receives transaction, subscription, customer, and payment-status information needed to administer the subscription.

5. How We Use Information

WelDNA may use information to:

• provide and administer services and subscriptions;
• process transactions and maintain financial and tax records;
• respond to questions, support requests, cancellations, and disputes;
• protect the website, app, users, and business from fraud, abuse, or security threats;
• comply with law and enforce agreements; and
• improve service quality using information that is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

WelDNA does not sell personal data for money. WelDNA does not use Simple Resume document contents for targeted advertising.

6. When Information May Be Shared

WelDNA may share information with service providers that help operate the business, such as Stripe, website hosting providers, email providers, and professional advisers. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, complete a business transaction, or respond to a valid legal request.

Service providers are permitted to handle information only for authorized business purposes, subject to their agreements and applicable law.

7. Retention

WelDNA retains payment, subscription, tax, dispute, and business records for the period reasonably needed for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and operational purposes. Support communications may be kept while a request is active and for a reasonable period afterward. The current static Simple Resume app does not upload résumé, job-description, or LinkedIn document text to WelDNA. Local browser data and downloaded documents remain on your device until you clear or delete them.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

The website or its service providers may use browser storage, cookies, or similar technologies for essential operation, security, preferences, payment functions, and service continuity. You can control these technologies through your browser, but blocking essential storage may prevent parts of the service from working correctly.

9. Security

WelDNA uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information handled. No website, storage system, email, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, browser profile, downloads, passwords, and access to your email account.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You may contact WelDNA to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information WelDNA controls, or to appeal a denied privacy request. You may also request information about applicable data-sharing practices. WelDNA will verify and respond to requests as required by applicable law. Some records may be retained when required for legal, security, billing, tax, dispute, or other legitimate purposes.

Send a request to resumeorders@weldna.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” If an appeal is needed, use the subject “Privacy Appeal.”

11. Children

The website and Simple Resume subscription are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. WelDNA does not knowingly collect personal information from a child through the Simple Resume subscription. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information should contact WelDNA.

12. International Use

WelDNA operates from the United States. If you access the service from another country, information handled by WelDNA or its providers may be processed in the United States or other locations where those providers operate, subject to applicable law.

13. Changes to This Policy

WelDNA may update this policy as services, technology, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or available contact information.
